BIG NIGHT (Stanley Tucci and Campbell Scott, )
BABETTE'S FEAST (Gabriel Axel, 1987)
A windswept beach on the coast of Jutland, a mysterious woman knocks at the door bearing a letter. She's run away from the war in France and needs two elderly sisters to take her in. "Babette know how to cook" the letter says; it's the biggest understatement in all of cinema. She prepares a massive feast that heals the soul as well as satisfies the stomach.
EAT DRINK MAN WOMAN (Ang Lee, )
CHOCOLAT (Lasse Hallstrom, )
I actually haven't seen this one. But I'm told that it's good. I saw an African film of the same name, and it sucked. And had no chocolate in it.
